San Diego County Chapter FIRST EVER Club Meeting and Event Set for Saturday, March 2, 2013

We've been trying to set up our first meeting, so that we can meet each other face to face. Initially we were aiming for a meeting this Friday, but less than a handful of us indicated that we could make it.

However, fellow member Carmel Fleck came up with a great suggestion. Since quite a few of us are already going to be at the D23 Fanniversary in Balboa Park on Sat., Mar. 2 (it starts at 2:00 PM), why not just have our first meeting there? Even if you are not going to be going to the Fanniversary, come meet us anyway and also spend some quality time in Balboa Park. People travel from around the world to visit there.

So, let's meet outside the San Diego MOPA in Balboa Park at 1:00 PM on that date. I'll make and bring some sort of temporary sign, so that we will all have a way to recognize each other. It will be informal meeting, where we can meet and begin to get to know each other, before we go into the D23 Fanniversary event. If it rains, we will decide on the spot where to take cover, but do bring umbrellas if the skies look threatening.
