Come and view the artwork of celebrity artist, Kevin-John. Famous for his artwork depicting various sporting events, he has recently received a contract to create Theme Park exclusive art for Walt Disney World. His work has been showcased at the Walt Disney World Resort, ESPN, and ABC. Kevin-John will talk about the inspiration for some of his sporting portraits, his first Disney piece, and his future projects.
Also, it's the World Chapter's election! The fate of the World Chapter is in your hands. Members should have received a ballot via e-mail. One ballot per family will be available at the meeting. If you ARE NOT able to attend the meeting, you may send your ballot via U.S. Mail at World Chapter, P.O. Box 470116, Celebration, FL 34747-0116, where it will be delivered to the meeting (note: it's probably too late to mail it now.) The mailed ballots will be delivered to the meeting. Per our By-Laws, only members with up-to-date dues/memberships can vote. If your membership has expired, please bring it up to date by April 1, 2014.
Sshhhh... We're going to surprise one member with a special surprise birthday party, complete with a cake and "Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Buffet for ALL!!" So, if your birthday is this month, remember to attend the meeting... just in case you're the special surprised member.
Announcing our December special event! Special Events Vice President, Adria Smith, will be making the official announcement about the World Chapter's December Event - Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Mary Poppins. Tickets will go on sale at the meeting. For World Chapter's members only - you can place a $10 deposit per person to reserve a space. Tickets must be paid in full by November 1, 2014. For those unable to attend, an e-mail will go out after the meeting with more details.
