Meet Jiminy's Official Conscience For 47 Years At The Next Chapter At The Park Meeting on Saturday, June 15, 2013 @ 12:30 p.m.

We are honored to have as our guest, Carolyn Carroll, the wife of Eddie Carroll for 47 years. Eddie Carroll was the voice of Jiminy Cricket since 1973. Sadly, Eddie passed away in 2010. Carolyn will speak about Eddie and about the book that she has written with stories and memories of Eddie's wonderful life and amazing career in radio, theater, as Jiminy, and as Jack Benny.

Dear Chapter at the Park Member,

Included with [the mailing that was mailed to all members], you will find a copy of our revised Chapter By-Laws that your Board approved at their February 9, 2013 meeting.  Over the past year Bob Allmon, Vice President of Membership and myself have worked on the revision and updating of these by-laws.  We are now submitting them to you for your approval.

Please review the by-laws. I believe they are fairly self explanatory. Wording in red and crossed out are in the current by-laws and are being eliminated and either being dropped entirely or replaced with the wording in black bold print. Most of the changes were done to make the running of the Chapter a little easier and to eliminate some language that was either repeated in another section of the by-laws, to match changes we have already made within the Chapter regarding specific meeting dates and membership, or in some cases to correct items that contradicted themselves in two different sections.

At the June 15th meeting we will be voting on the revised by laws, which if approved would become effective for the Chapter at the Park immediately. If you are unable to attend the June 15th meeting an absentee ballot will be available for you to use.
